The Update 4 resolves the compatibility issues on macOS^® Sierra. The Update 4 is a combo update which also includes the fixes in previous updates. It can be patched directly over any previous official version of AutoCAD 2015 for Mac. It is recommended that you read the entire document properly before you apply the update to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Image underlay

• Some image underlay does not show correctly after patching Update 3.

Sierra

• On 10.12, Image or PDF underlay shows as black box in printed result.

Security

• Includes a security patch to address a vulnerability where a specially crafted raster image in a drawing can trigger unauthorized code execution.

El Capitan

• On 10.11, Crashes when edit text.

• On Yosemite, two fingers moving on Trackpad triggers zoom instead of pan.

Selection

• AutoCAD hangs when selecting some special splines.

Page Setup

• Crash when close the Page Setup Manager dialog.

This Update 4 is a combo update, and is applicable to any earlier official releases for AutoCAD 2015 for Mac.

To install AutoCAD 2015 for Mac Update 4, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install the update.
2. Double-click AutoCAD2015Update4_English.dmg or AutoCAD2015Update4_French.dmg to mount the volume.

Note: The AutoCAD2015Update4_English is for English version of AutoCAD, and the AutoCAD2015Update4_French is for French version of AutoCAD.

3. Double-click AutoCAD2015Update4.pkg in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Launch AutoCAD for Mac after the installation has completed.
6. Click menu AutoCAD 2015, select About AutoCAD, the Product Version should be "J.51.M.455".

This update replaces files from the original installation of AutoCAD for Mac and cannot be uninstalled separately.

To uninstall this update, do the following:

1. Close AutoCAD for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2015 and double-click Remove AutoCAD.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Reinstall AutoCAD for Mac from the original product media or download.
