What

Extract Quantity material estimation from AutoCAD Civil 3D Corridor built with subassembly elements that include shape codes in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Who

Civil engineers, surveyors, and all AEC specialists involved in infrastructure projects.

How

  1. In Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Build a corridor using main element like alignments, profiles, and assemblies

  1. Set target and frequency for all elements.

  1. Create a Sample line 
  2. Select Properties of the Sample Lines Group.

  1. In the Material List tab, click Add New Material and specify a name. 

  1. Select a shape in the Data Type list. Select a name in the Select Corridor Shape list. Click Add button. For Quantity Type, select Structures for each element.

  1. Verify the added material in the sample line.

  1. Create a multiple section view with a material table.
