If this is your FIRST time using BIM 360 Team, to complete the “subscription activation process”, you will also need to create a BIM 360 Team Hub by clicking the “Start Your Project” button at https://team.bim360.com, and enter your email address to get started.
These steps outlined below will help you “link” your subscription contract to your BIM 360 Team hub, which will then “activate” your subscription. The BIM 360 Team “hub” is the actual online collaboration site where you’ll add your content and invite your team members into collaborate on your project with you.
If you already have a BIM 360 Team Hub, i.e. if you’ve recently created a BIM 360 Team “trial” Hub, you can use that trial hub to link it to your contract which will then “activate” your subscription. Simply login to your BIM 360 Team hub by clicking “Sign In” at: https://team.bim360.com
When you first log into BIM 360 Team, a banner designates that your hub is still in Trial Mode.
Select My Account to go to your Autodesk Account Portal, and select the Management tab, or access the Management tab directly via http://manage.autodesk.com.
Find your BIM 360 Team contract, and click the Access Now link.
Your Hub name will show up under Choose a Hub. If you don’t see your Hub name, you can enter it manually.
A green banner designates that your Contract and Hub have been successfully assigned, which also designates that your subscription has been “activated”.
Log back into BIM 360 Team via http://team.bim360.com. Note that the Trial Banner is now gone and your hub is now tied to your contract.
