Issue:

This article describes the most common solution for download issues with Autodesk Products.

Solution:

We recommend the following steps:

  • If you tried to install using "Install" or "Download" methods, try using the Direct Download or Custom Install methods (not available in macOS). See also How to download Autodesk software.
  • Try to download using a different browser, such as Chrome or Edge (this recommendation solves the issue most situations).
  • Try to connect to a different wireless connection or connect to a wired connection (instead of WiFi).
  • Temporarily turn off antivirus software, personal firewall, port blocking, or VPN. If you use download-acceleration software or other program that manages downloads, turn that off as well. You may need to consult with your system administrator to perform some of these actions.
  • Remove pop-up blockers, cookies, and temporary internet files.
  • Contact Autodesk Support.

To turn off pop-up blockers and clear your cache

  1. Close all other windows and tabs in your browser.
  2. Keep only one window and one tab open. In the Preferences or Options area of your browser, temporarily remove pop-up blockers and allow access to all sites in the *autodesk.com domain. For Chrome, see Block or allow pop-ups in Chrome - Computer - Google Chrome Help.
  3. Delete cookies and temporary internet files (clear the cache). For Chrome, see Check & delete your Chrome browsing history - Computer - Google Chrome Help.
  4. Close and reopen your browser.
  5. Attempt again to download.
