Update Software in Autodesk Account
Autodesk subscription and maintenance plan customers have access to the most recent version of Autodesk software when a new version is released during a contract term. Product versions are independent of one another and are not "add-ons" to previous releases. You'll need to download and install the full new product version. You do not need to uninstall your old version and can use different versions at the same time.

To install a new version of Autodesk software:

Sign in to your Autodesk Account:

Download your software: Locate your product in the list of Products & Services and click the View downloads button. The Install Now option downloads, decompresses, and installs your software in one continuous process (Install Now is available only for versions 2019 and later). Use Download Now or Browser Download to get full installation files that are reusable.
Note: For industry collections or AutoCAD including specialized toolsets, click the View items button to see individual product downloads.

Note: Not all download methods are available for every product, version, or operating system platform.

Install your software: Launch the install file you downloaded and follow the onscreen instructions. See Install on a Single Computer for information.
- Activate your software, if needed: Install Now may automatically recognize subscription customers and apply the serial number to give you software access. Some software is accessed by signing in with your Autodesk Account email address and password. If your software does not activate automatically, see About Product Activation for information.
