Download and Install a Language Pack
Some Autodesk software titles allow you to select the language for your software when you download the installation files. If you already installed your software and want the option to use it in more than one language, you can download and install language packs for each language desired.
Each language pack contains only the text strings and documents required to support a user working in the specified language; it does not duplicate the core product software. A single installed product can support several languages using language packs, enabling users to switch from one to another when required.
Note: Language packs are not available for all products or operating systems. Some software products may not have multiple languages available at the time of release but additional language packs may be made available later.
Downloading from Autodesk Account
To download a Language Pack from Autodesk Account:
- Sign in to your Autodesk Account:
- Locate your product in the list of Products &
Services and click the download icon. For industry
collections or AutoCAD - including specialized toolsets, click the
menu icon and select View all items to see
individual product downloads.

- On the Download screen, click Updates & Add-Ons. A list of all available downloads is displayed, including language packs.
- Use the search box to search for langauge packs and click
Download to download your desired language.
- After the download is complete, launch the file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If asked for a location to extract the files, choose the default location unless your software is installed in a custom directory. See: Installing a Language Pack, below.
Installing a Language Pack
To Install a Language Pack:

Install your product software first. Language packs are add-ons and not full versions of the core software product.

Launch the .exe file for the language pack you downloaded. Language packs file names follow this format: Title_Version_Language_LP_Platform_dlm.sfx.exe

Click Install on the product installation screen.

Verify the component you are installing and click the Install button.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Click the new shortcut on your desktop to launch your software in the language installed.
