Use Download Now Method for Students & Educators
The Download Now method uses the Autodesk Download Manager, which enables a download that is more efficient and reliable than conventional browser downloads.
Recommended for students and educators who want the best download experience but want to install later or on a different computer.
If this download method is not displayed as an option, it is not available for the product or version you selected.
To ensure a smooth installation, learn how to prepare your system before installing Autodesk software.
Download the Installer
To use the Download Now method:

On the Education Community website, select Get Free Software on the left side of the screen.

Select the Product you want to download.

Specify the Version, Operating System, and Language you want to download.
Note: For Windows systems, "32-bit" or "64-bit" refers to the version of your operating system, which you can check by going to Control Panel > System. You must choose the correct version in order to use the software.

Click Download Now. You may need to click the Install Now drop-down arrow to access Download Now.

You may need to download and install the Autodesk Download Manager (DLM), if you haven't already done so.
You may be prompted to click Run (Internet Explorer) or, depending on your Web browser, the download may start automatically in your download window/bar (Chrome, Firefox or Safari).
When the DLM download is complete, double-click the downloaded file or click Run again.
Read the DLM License Agreement, select I Agree, and click Install.

The DLM begins downloading your software. To save the download in the default location (recommended), click OK.
You can pause or resume at any point during the download.

When the download is complete, click Install to begin installing your software immediately or click the folder icon to install later.
Install and Activate
You can install as soon as the download process is complete, or you can wait and install the files later.
The first time you start the software, it may appear that you have a trial version. To activate your three-year education license, be sure to use the serial number and product key provided at the Education Community site when you downloaded the software.
Note: If you do not activate your software within 30 days of installing the trial version, you may need to perform a clean uninstall of the product and then reinstall and activate it.
To install and activate after downloading with Download Now:

Find the downloaded installer files and start the installation process.

When you start the product and are prompted for a serial number and product key, use the serial number and product key provided at the Education Community download site.
