Access with Autodesk ID-based Subscription (Sign In)
If you have a single-user subscription, your product is activated automatically. Unlike many previous versions, you don't need to enter a serial number or registration code in order to start using the product.
Note: Activation codes are not needed for subscription licenses.
How can you tell if this applies to you? Look in your Autodesk Account. In the product information section, you'll find:
- License type: "Autodesk ID" (This is also known as a _USER based license.)
- Activation: "Sign in"
If you have just installed the software for the first time:

Start the software.

On the Let's Get Started screen, click Single-user (versions 2019 and later) or Sign-In (versions 2018 and earlier).

If prompted, sign in to authenticate access with your Autodesk credentials (that is, your Autodesk ID or the email and password associated with the account).
