Autodesk Home Use Rights
Home Use Rights is a benefit that allows employees to install Autodesk software at home for work related to business, personal education, or training. Products with multi-user access or a maintenance plan on a network, require a license to use software at home. Products with single-user access can be used from any computer and do not require a home-use license.
To request a Home Use License, see Requesting a License to Use Software at Home.
Home Use Eligibility
To see which products are available for home use, see the Autodesk Home Use Product Eligibility List. In general, enterprise or server-based products (network-only products), and those that do not require activation are not eligible for home use. Education and Not for Resale (NFR) licenses are not eligible. For complete terms and conditions, see the Autodesk Subscription and Maintenance Plans Terms and Conditions.
Home Use Setup
In the Products and Services area of your Autodesk Account, you will find options to request a home-use license depending on the license type. Not all products are available in all languages or regions. Home use is available only for the products listed in your region.
- Maintenance plans on a network license and products with multi-user access — You can borrow a license from your network license server to use on your home computer, or request a license for home use.
- Products with single-user access —You do not need a home-use license. Install your software on your home computer using your existing serial number and sign in with your Autodesk Account user name and password.
Activating Previous Versions at Home
If you are installing a previous version at home, see Product Support Lifecycle to make sure the version is eligible for activation.
