Requesting a License to Use Software at Home
To activate software at home, if you have
products with multi-user access or a maintenance plan
with a network license, you must request a license or
borrow one from the server. Only administrators on eligible
accounts can request licenses.
Note: If you have products with
single-user access or a single-user maintenance plan,
you do not need a home-use license. Use your serial number or
account information to activate software on home computers. Only
one instance of the software can be active at any given time,
either at work or at home.
- Reactivate an existing license—If your license has expired, click Get Started below to request a new one, or reactivate the old license following the instructions in Reactivate Expired Home Use License. If you are activating a previous version, see Product Support Lifecycle to make sure the version is eligible for activation.
- Home use terms—Home use is subject to certain terms and conditions. They are not available for all products and locations. See Autodesk Home Use Rights and Eligible Products List for more information.
