Educational institutions worldwide qualify for free(*) access to Autodesk software through the Autodesk Education Community except for institutions in countries subject to United States trade embargo, which as of February 2016, include Sudan, Syria, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Crimea.

Confirming your eligibility for educational access to Autodesk software and services

To access products and services through the Autodesk Education Community you will be required to confirm your eligibility during the account creation or sign-in process.

Once your eligibility for educational access has been confirmed, you will be granted 1-year (365 days) free education access to Autodesk products and services through the Autodesk Education Community. Prior to, or upon expiration of your educational access, you can renew your access if you are still eligible.

Create or sign into your Autodesk Account and obtain education access to Autodesk software and services:

1. Visit the Free software page on the Autodesk Education Community and select the Autodesk software product you would like to download.
2. Click Create Account or Sign in on the product download page. Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and confirm your eligibility. You'll be prompted to confirm your school and may be asked to provide additional documentation as proof of enrollment or employment at a qualified educational institution.
3. Once your eligibility for education access has been confirmed, return to the Autodesk Education Community and access your chosen software.
