How to reset Design Review to defaults

Issue:

How to reset or restore the settings of Design Review to original default values.

To quickly reset Design Review:
  1. Click the application menu at the top-left of the program and choose Options.
  2. Click "Restore Defaults."
To manually clear Design Review settings:
  1. Exit Design Review.
  2. Turn on hidden files/folders (see How to turn on hidden files and folders on Windows).

  3. Delete the following folders:

    For Windows Vista, 7, 8,  8.1, and 10:

    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ADR
    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review
    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review
    C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ADR

    For Windows XP:

    C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Autodesk\ADR
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\ADR
  4. Press WINDOWS-R on the keyboard to bring up the Run window, enter REGEDIT and click OK.

  5. Delete the following registry keys:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Design Review
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\DWF Common
  6. Launch Design Review to have it rebuild its settings files.
