Background

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) provides a standardized U.S. government-wide approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of cloud service provider (CSP) offerings.

The Autodesk for Government Offerings have been assessed by the U.S. federal government and authorized at the FedRAMP Moderate level.

Autodesk for Government (AFG) Support

Autodesk’s support systems and personnel are currently not properly configured or legally authorized to access, receive, or store any classified information, controlled unclassified information, export-controlled information, or other sensitive information requiring special access or dissemination protections. Autodesk does not have insight into the types of data that customers have authorized for storage in the Autodesk for Government Offerings.

As a result, Autodesk for Government customers currently are not permitted to, and should ensure that their Support Users do not:

  • Share any project data with Autodesk support personnel, or include or disclose such project data as part of, or in relation to, any support request; or
  • Use any tools with Autodesk support personnel that could result in sharing, inclusion, or disclosure of project data (e.g., no screen sharing or remote control for troubleshooting).

And Autodesk support personnel currently are not permitted to:

  • Provide direct data management support for Autodesk for Government customers; or
  • Receive, access, view, or store any Autodesk for Government customer project data.

Autodesk for Government Support Modalities

Only web support will be provided to AFG customers via Your Support Users, as applicable, as further described in the Standard Subscription Support Benefits. Additional modes of support (e.g., schedule a callback) may be offered to AFG customers from time to time, as further described in the Standard Subscription Support Benefits.

Customer Responsibility: Information Spillage

Information spillage occurs when controlled unclassified information or other sensitive information is transferred out of the Autodesk for Government Offerings to a non-authorized individual or system.

If the customer identifies an information spillage event resulting from project data being disclosed to Autodesk support personnel and/or added or uploaded into Autodesk support systems through a support request or otherwise, it should notify Autodesk of such an event.

In the event of an information spillage event involving Autodesk support personnel or systems, You should promptly send a notice describing the spillage -- without including or referencing any controlled unclassified information or other sensitive information in the notice -- to: fedramp.incident.response@autodesk.com.

Your prompt reporting of any information spillage event will assist Autodesk in meeting its related reporting obligations.
