Upgrade MS SQL 2012 to MS SQL 2014

Follow these steps to upgrade MS SQL 2012 to MS SQL 2014.

Upgrade from SQL 2012 to SQL 2014

1. Download SQL 2014 Express from http://www.microsoft.com.
2. Select Installation and begin the Upgrade from SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2, or SQL Server 2012.
3. Continue through the pre-installation process. Pre-request files and services are updated. Setup Support Rules are processed.
4. On the Select Instance screen, select the AutodeskVault instance to upgrade and confirm instance settings. Click Next.
5. Accept the default features on the Select Features screen by clicking Next.
6. On the Instance Configuration screen, click Next.
7. On the Ready to Upgrade screen, click Upgrade. Setup will complete and upgrade the AutodeskVault SQL instance to SQL 2014.
