Download & Install the MotionBuilder Help

The MotionBuilder Help is internet-based by default and requires a web browser and internet connection to view. To download and install the English or Japanese MotionBuilder Help on your Windows or Linux Operating System (OS), or your local network, follow the instructions in the MotionBuilder Help Installation document before installing the Help.

To access the offline Help from MotionBuilder:

  1. Click the MotionBuilder 2016 offline Help link above.
  2. Save the motionbuilder_2016_offline_help_enu.zip file to your computer or to a local network location.
  3. Extract the contents of the ZIP file.
  4. Choose Local Computer/Network from the MotionBuilder Settings > Help > Help Location preferences.
  5. Specify the parent folder path in the text box.

    For example, if you have extracted the ZIP file under the C:\MotionBuilder2015\Docs\ folder, then the parent folder path is C:\MotionBuilder2016\Docs\motionbuilder_2015_offline_help_enu\.
