Dimension chains consist of individual elements, such as dimensions and spacings between individual parts (free play). Individual chain elements can be increasing, decreasing, or closing. Closing elements are parameters formed at the time of assembly of the given part (assembly-resultant elements, such as free play), or during the production process (production-resultant elements).
