This Infobyte shows you how to change the license pointer file for a Flame Family application.

This is needed when the hostname or IP address of the license server has changed

As a result the license pointer file of the workstation connecting to the license server needs to be modified

Pointer File location on Linux:
/var/flexlm/flamefamily.lic

Applies to: Flame Family 2018 or higher on Linux
