How to request a license to use previous versions of Autodesk software on Subscription

Oct 22, 2014

You're a Maintenance Subscription customer and need to request a license to use a previous version of Autodesk software you have licensed under Subscription.

Contract Managers and Software Coordinators can request the use of previous versions for most Autodesk software products, giving you greater flexibility to use the most recent release, while continuing to use older versions for ongoing projects.

Note: Use of previous software versions is subject to certain conditions and may not be available for all software products or in all locations. Educational institutions may follow the process below, or may obtain prior version serial numbers for 3-year term educational licenses at the Academic Resource Center.

If you are an end user, you'll need to find your Contract Manager to request a previous version for you.

If you are a Contract Manager or Software Coordinator, watch our video walkthrough or follow the below steps to request a previous version:

  1. Log into Subscription Center and click Contract Administration.

Note: This link only appears for Contract Managers and Software Coordinators.
