How to manually activate Autodesk products using an activation code

Issue:

You need to activate your Autodesk software on a computer that does not have access to an Internet connection. Here's the process for requesting an activation code for offline software activation.

Solution:

You can activate your product automatically over the Internet. See How to Activate and Register Autodesk Software for more information.

If you need to activate your software on a computer that doesn't have Internet access, you can activate your software manually. Here are the three steps to the manual activation process:

  1. Generating a Request Code
  2. Requesting an Activation Code
  3. Activating your Software Manually

Generating a Request Code

After you install your software, you can use it on a trial basis until you receive your Activation Code from Autodesk. The trial screen on Autodesk software is your starting point to the manual activation process.

To generate a request code to activate your software:

  1. Launch your software and click the Activate button on the Free Trial screen.

  4. Record the activation information provided.

Note: You'll need your product name, serial number, product key, and request code when you submit your request for an activation code on another computer. Also record the Web address presented. It links to the form you'll complete to submit your request. The request code shown is for example only and will not work if used.
