In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Inventor Engineer-to-Order 2015 SP1 (8.1) which addresses multiple issues (see Description below).

This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Series

• ETO Add-In caused any drawing view orientation change to stop working
• "Place iLogic Component" command did not work if ETO Add-In is loaded
• Fixed a memory leak in ETO Studio while editing iks files
• Fixed a problem with installing a customized application deployed with a non-English language 
• Fixed a problem whereby installing an English ETO customized build on a non-English OS failed

Series and Server

• ETO Training Essentials samples were not working with RTM version
• A child rule that adds an AutoCAD block (IvAutoCADBlock) was not adding the text (attributes) 
• An error occurred when using an AutoCAD Block from libraryDocument
• MakeName gave a bogus error with char(160), but worked with char(32)
• There was an inability to debug Intent code in an ETO Server application from ETO Studio 2014

Server

• Fixed a problem with improper positional updates
• Fixed a problem with the UI Tools not always using ServerExceptionHandler instead of DefaultExceptionHandler thus attempting to show a MessageBox for a server side error  
• Contains an updated Inventor Server 2015 which contains a fix for the Heartbleed vulnerability.

To apply this Service Pack, your system must have Inventor Engineer-to-Order Series 2015 (8.0) and/or Engineer-to-Order Server 2015 (8.0) installed.

Note: This update does not include any updates to Inventor 2015 nor Inventor OEM 2015. Updates for these programs, specifically for the Heartbleed vulnerability, can be found at the following locations:

Note: When there is a combination of these installed ETO products [2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2015 SP1] the time to uninstall can take an extended period of time, 7-10 minutes as opposed to 1-2 minutes.

This Update is available in 32bit and 64bit versions (downloaded together as one bundle) and is only applicable to Autodesk Inventor Engineer-to-Order 2015 (8.0).

1. Download ETO8100.zip for Autodesk Inventor Engineer-to-Order 2015 (8.0).
2. Extract Series_ETO8100_x86.msp or Series_ETO8100_x64.msp and/or Server_ETO8100_x64.msp from the downloaded zip file.
3. Double click on the appropriate .msp file (32-bit or 64-bit) to install this on each system running Autodesk Inventor Engineer-to-Order 2015 SP1 (8.0).
4. The Autodesk Inventor Engineer-to-Order 2015 SP1 (8.1) Setup dialog box will pop up and installing will begin automatically.
5. Once finished the Autodesk Inventor Engineer-to-Order 2015 SP1 (8.1) Setup dialog box will close automatically.
