In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Update 1 for Inventor 2014 Service Pack 2 which addresses multiple issues (see Description below).

This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

• 1516-074: Surface component not visible in drawing view

For application of this update, your system must have Inventor from one of the following products installed:

• Autodesk® Inventor® Professional 2014

• Autodesk® Product Design Suite Premium 2014

This update is available in 32bit and 64bit versions (downloaded together as one bundle) and is only applicable to Autodesk Inventor 2014 Service Pack 2. If you do not have Service Pack 2 please download and install prior to installing this Update. For installation on Windows 8.1 OS please read Technical Solution TS22238097. Once installed, it will appear as an update under Add/Remove Programs and can be uninstalled from there.

1. Download Update INV18210.zip for Autodesk Inventor 2014 Service Pack 2.
2. Extract INV18210_32-bit.msp and INV18210_64-bit.msp from the zip file downloaded in step 1.
3. Double click on the appropriate .msp file (32-bit or 64-bit) to install this update on each system running Autodesk Inventor 2014 Service Pack 2.
4. Choose Next to begin the install...
5. Once finished you'll receive the Autodesk Inventor 2014 Setup dialog box stating that the update has been successfully applied.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation and exit the dialog box.
