FLEXnet Licensing Hotfix

This hotfix repairs a problem that occurs during the side-by-side installation of two different licensing products.


Description of Problem

During the installation of stand-alone licensing products with previously installed network licensing products, an error occurs indicating that the installation failed. The following products are affected by this problem.

Installation Instructions

To install FLEXnet Licensing Hotfix

NOTE: Before installing this hotfix, verify that network licensed products are installed on your machine. Also, you must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to complete the installation process.

  1. On the computer where the affected product is installed, close all software applications and log on as the Administrator.
  2. Download the LIC1252067_x86.exe or LIC1252067_x64.exe file to a location on your local computer.
  3. On your local computer, find and double-click the LIC1252067_x86.exe or LIC1252067_x64.exe file to install the hotfix. A message indicates when the hotfix is successfully installed.
