This Update can be applied to locked and unlocked versions of Autodesk Raster Design 2005 SP1 or Hot Fix 2 of all languages, except Japanese, running on English-language and non-English-language operating systems. This update includes the components of Raster Design Hot Fix 2. This update can only be applied to a Raster Design 2005 instance to which Service Pack 1 or Hot Fix 2 has been applied.
* A Japanese Hot Fix will be available in the future.
Important: You cannot run an automatic uninstall to remove this Hot Fix. To restore your version of Autodesk Raster Design 2005 to its pre-update state, uninstall Autodesk Raster Design 2005 and reinstall it.
This update addresses the following issues:
1. Faster image display, pan and zoom. This update will significantly improve the display performance as well as panning and zooming speeds for all image types especially when image editing is involved.
2. Ability to save images when demand loaded. This update will allow images to be saved, if
Raster Design was demand loaded after a drawing with images was opened.
3.
Image transformation. For non- save able image
formats, such as SID, this update now properly performs the affine coordinate transform.
4. Plot stability. This update makes image plotting more stable. The memory leak issue, which
resulted in problems such as hanging and out of memory errors, has been resolved.
5. Publishing multispectral images. This update allows users to create a DWF containing representations of multispectral images.
The following method of distributing Autodesk Raster Design 2005 Hot Fix 3 applies only to administrative images created with the Autodesk 2005 Network Installation Wizard. After you complete these procedures, any new deployments of Autodesk Raster Design 2005 will have the update applied to them automatically.
