What educational institutions qualify for free software from Autodesk?

Aug 12, 2014

Issue:

You want to know if you qualify to receive free software through the Autodesk Academic Resource Center (ARC).

Solution:

Autodesk provides educational licenses for free* software to qualified educational institutions that are located in certain regions or are associated with our partner programs.

Your educational institution may qualify if it is a secondary or post-secondary educational institution that is accredited by an authorized governmental agency within the applicable local, state, provincial, federal, or national government and has the primary purpose of teaching enrolled students.

To see a list of regions and partner programs, go to  Countries where educational institutions qualify for free access to Autodesk software

Free software available through Academic Resource Center (ARC) portal is limited to Autodesk approved education institutions in certain markets and subject to the applicable Terms of Use, software license agreement and eligibility requirements. Any software provided through ARC may only be used for purposes directly related to learning, teaching, training, research and development that are part of the instructional functions performed by a qualified educational institution and may not be used for commercial, professional or any other for-profit purposes. Autodesk software license agreements can be found online at http://usa.autodesk.com/legal-notices-trademarks/.
