Linear contact solution provides unrealistic displacements

Issue:

When running a linear static model in Autodesk Nastran with linear general contact, the solution provide does not contain realistic results for what is a symmetric model.

Solution:

Adjusting the convergence tolerance of linear contact can result in a more accurate solution. The default value for LNCOTACTIERTOL is 1.0E-2, a value of 1.0E-3 or 1.0E-4 can often times be more appropriate.
