"Fatal error E5073: Non-zero load vector required for nonlinear analysis" in Nastran analysis

A non-linear analysis with Nastran fails with the following error in the log file:

Fatal Error E5073: Non-zero load vector required for nonlinear analysis

A load is required.

Check that a load is applied.
Check that a constraint has not been added to the same geometry and directions as the load. (This would prevent the load from having any effect.)

Enforced motion is much like a constraint being applied as a load. Therefore, when applying an enforced motion type load, a constraint must be applied on the same geometry and in the same direction of the applied enforced motion.
