Contour legend is not visible in Inventor Nastran

Issue:

Users reported that contour legend is not shown when viewing the results in Inventor Nastran.
  • The color bar is missing from the left side of the window.
  • The annotation text that shows the contour type and subcase (in the bottom left corner) is missing.
  • Probes are not visible.

Causes:

The model is sliced using Inventor's "View > Appearance > Section View" command.

Solution:

Use the "Section View" options on the contour Plot dialog instead of Inventor's section view.
