"Internet connection issue" when using Autodesk Access

Issue:

When using the Autodesk Access (formerly Autodesk Desktop App), the following error message is displayed:
 

Internet Connection Issue

Internet Connection Issue   You don't appear to be connected to the internet.  To see your current list of products and updates, please check your connection and try again. RETRY


You need to know what proxy settings are required for connecting Autodesk Access to the Internet.
 

Solution:

If you can see the interface properly but get an error message when you try to install an update, you may need to specify proxy details in the settings.

Your proxy server may permit access only to "whitelisted" sites. If you see the error message about not being able to connect to the internet, make sure the following servers are whitelisted:
  • *.autodesk.com
  • *.google-analytics.com
  • *.cloudfront.net
  • *.virtualearth.net
  • *.autocadws.com
  • *.newrelic.com
  • *.akamaiedge.net
  • *.amazonaws.com
  • *.getsatisfaction.com
  • *.autodesk360.com
  • *.skyscraper.autodesk.com
